Technical Support Administrator - EPOS systems
Based Ashton-in-Makerfield
A leading company in the forecourt equipment sector, are seeking a Technical Support Administrator to provide support on their payment systems to internal & external stakeholders.
Role Overview:
As an Technical Support Administrator within the Technical Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team mainly surrounding our payment technology and our documenting systems.This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the technical aspects of our projects while contributing to the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone support to field engineers, guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and offering solutions to technical issues encountered during on-site installations or maintenance activities.
- Setting up payment devices in web portals according to client specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues related to payment devices.
- Provide administrative support to the Technical Department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating engineer / technical site visits
- Assist in preparing technical documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain and organise technical documentation and records.
- Assist in coordinating project activities, including liaising with project managers and technical staff.
Your Experience & Position Requirements:
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A keen interest in technology and a willingness to learn about technical concepts and terminology.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Advantageous;
- Technical support experience - IT, software, hardware, telephone technical support
Hours & Remuneration
- Office based Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
- Salary based on experience £24-27,000 negotiable
